This year’s harvest will be remembered as one of the earliest ever in Napa Valley. This season had nearly perfect weather throughout the growing season, which resulted in a very high quality grape. We are excited about the 2014 vintage producing spectacular wine to enjoy for years to come.
This wine was barrel and tank fermented for 14-20 days under native yeast. It was matured for 28 months in French Oak barrels (70% new). Upon bottling, it was unfined and unfiltered. The goal throughout was to nurture and protect as much as possible, to retain as much essential flavors as the
vineyard site, vintage, and terroir had to offer.
